It was cute.

@_@ I didn't even know it was out! D: I'll have to watch it...

And sadly, I never expect much from OVAs. They're always way too short to do anything significant.

But...if I remember right the OVA was just supposed to be a prequel for an actual anime? Or maybe they changed it...can't remember @_@ ARGH.

Watched the BRS OVA myself just now and while I wouldn't agree on it being bad, it wasn't good either, medicore at best. We've seen similar plotlines a thousand times before and it generally seemed just pointless to me, aside from being cute and using Black Rock Shooter's popularity to cash in more money.

They should have put more effort into it and at least tried to make it more unique. The length is also of issue as the OVA was way too short for me to even start caring for the characters in it. Basically, the biggest isssue I had with it was its lack of complexity. But then again, I wasn't expecting all that much from BRS OVA in the first place.

The animation was... fine, actually, despite it seeming pretty basic and simply done.

Overall, entertaining enough.
