I've never heard of that! XD I was used to summer having no strings attached. If they gave us summer homework, there's no way it would get done. XD And if you think about it, that's a terrible way to introduce yourself to new students. "I'm your new teacher, here's a bunch of boring shit to do instead of having fun! Expect more of that when you get back!"
